Strawberry Almond Smoothie

I made this simple smoothie with some really tasty unsweetened almond milk from the CSM Farmers’ Market:  The guy that makes this almond milk sprouts the almonds for 36 hours (soak in water, rinse every 12 hours) for this super-smooth, creamy version.

  • 16 oz unsweetened almond milk 
  • 4 large strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 TB chia seeds
  • 1 handful of kale or spinach

Blend until smooth.  Add some ice or opt for the frozen version of the fruit above for a thicker shake.
